Located Sate Karang on Jl. Nyi Pembayan, Kota Gede, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Location right of Sate Karang on the Karang field. Sate Karang has quite famous in Kota Gede since 1984. This one of my favorite food in Yogyakarta. It is a beef satay with peanut sauce or 'kuah kocor' which feels like 'kuah pempek' and lontong opor tempe (Lontong opor is rice steamed in banana leaves which serves with coconut milk and tempe). It will be good when you eat with wedang ronde (Wedang Ronde is hot ginger water with flour ball, kolang-kaling, tapai ketan and peanut. Wow.. it is good combination. For the price is quite expensive, Rp. 20.000 for satay + lontong opor and for Wedang Ronde only Rp. 3.000. Sate Karang open from evening 5.30 pm-10 pm.
